18K White Gold Grande Occhi Necklace
Eyes of Babylon is a brand created and designed by Farah Barakat. The jewellery is made in Italy by the world’s finest craftsmen, using their renowned skills in jewellery-making and the art of enamelling. Eyes of Babylon jewellery emerges from the rich Mediterranean culture, reflecting the vibrant colours, history and culture of the region. Each piece redefines the Hand of Fatima and Evil Eye symbols in a modern, stylish and extravagant way. These lucky symbols are uniquely combined using rich enamel colours and techniques. The pieces are easy and fun to wear and once you own one piece you want to add to your collection and keep stacking them on!
This Eyes of Babylon Necklace is made from 18K white gold and the iconic eye. The eye has been recreated using fine enamel technique with the use of vibrant colours. Available eye colours: turquoise, blue, white, yellow, red, orange, green, pink and purple or diamond eye.

Jewellery Care Recommendations
Fine jewellery requires proper care to preserve its beauty and brilliance. We recommend following these simple guidelines to keep your treasured pieces in excellent condition.
- Remove your jewellery before engaging in activities that may cause damage, including sports, swimming, housekeeping, gardening, and other physical activities.
- Protect your jewellery from impacts, knocks, and excessive pressure, which may cause scratches, dents, or damage to gemstones and settings.
- Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined jewellery box to prevent scratching and tangling.
- Always fasten necklaces and bracelets before storing them to help prevent chains from becoming tangled.
- Avoid exposing your jewellery to excessive moisture, intense heat, and sudden temperature changes.
- Remove your jewellery before washing your hands, showering, swimming, or entering a sauna or steam room.
- Apply perfume, cosmetics, lotions, and hairspray before putting on your jewellery. Allow these products to dry completely before wearing your pieces.
- Keep your jewellery away from chemicals and corrosive substances, including bleach, chlorine, household cleaning products, and salt water.
- After wearing, gently wipe your jewellery with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth to remove fingerprints and surface residue.
- Take extra care with delicate materials such as pearls and enamel. Avoid soaking them in water or using abrasive cleaning products, ultrasonic cleaners, or steam cleaners unless a jewellery professional confirms the method is suitable.
- If your jewellery comes into contact with chemicals or other potentially damaging substances, contact our team for advice on appropriate cleaning and care.

Jewellery Care Recommendations
Every piece of Farah Jewellery is thoughtfully crafted with exceptional attention to detail. Whether worn every day or reserved for special occasions, fine jewellery deserves proper care to preserve its beauty and brilliance for years to come.
We recommend following these simple care guidelines to protect your treasured pieces.
Precautions for Everyday Wear
Although precious metals and gemstones are durable, they can be affected by everyday activities and environmental conditions.
- Remove your jewellery before sports, swimming, housekeeping, gardening, and other activities that may cause damage.
- Avoid impacts, knocks, and excessive pressure, which may scratch precious metals, damage gemstones, or loosen their settings.
- Avoid wearing multiple pieces in direct contact with one another, as they may scratch or become entangled.
- Remove your jewellery before showering, washing your hands, or entering a sauna or steam room.
- Protect your jewellery from excessive moisture, intense heat, prolonged direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes.
Protection from Chemicals & Cosmetics
Perfumes, cosmetics, lotions, and household chemicals may affect precious metals, gemstones, pearls, and enamel finishes.
- Apply perfume, cosmetics, lotions, and hairspray before putting on your jewellery. Allow these products to dry completely.
- Keep your jewellery away from bleach, chlorine, household cleaning products, and other harsh chemicals.
- Avoid wearing jewellery in swimming pools or the sea, as chlorine and salt water may damage certain materials and finishes.
- If your jewellery comes into contact with potentially damaging substances, contact our team for advice on the appropriate cleaning method.
Proper Storage
When not being worn, store your jewellery carefully to protect it from scratches, tangling, and environmental damage.
- Store each piece separately in its original Farah Jewellery box, a soft pouch, or a fabric-lined jewellery box.
- Fasten necklaces and bracelets before storing them to help prevent chains from becoming tangled.
- Keep jewellery away from direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and extreme temperatures.
- Store pearl jewellery separately in a soft pouch or lined jewellery box. Avoid excessively dry or hot environments, bathrooms, and prolonged storage in airtight plastic containers.
- Ensure jewellery is completely dry before storing it. Pearl strands should be allowed to dry fully before being worn or put away.
Cleaning & Restoring Brilliance
Regular, gentle cleaning helps maintain the natural beauty and brilliance of your jewellery. The appropriate cleaning method depends on the precious metals, gemstones, and decorative finishes used in each piece.
- General Care: Gently wipe your jewellery with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth after wearing to remove fingerprints and surface residue.
- Gold Jewellery: Gently clean plain gold jewellery with lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth when suitable for the entire piece. Rinse carefully and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaning products.
- Diamond Jewellery: Gently wipe your diamonds with a soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, consult our team to ensure the cleaning method is suitable for the gemstones and their settings.
- Gemstone Jewellery: Gemstones such as sapphires, onyx, jade, spinel, and garnets may require different cleaning methods depending on their properties and treatments. Contact our team for appropriate care recommendations.
- Pearl Jewellery: Gently wipe pearls with a very soft, clean cloth after each wear. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and excessive moisture. Never use ultrasonic or steam cleaners.
- Enamel Jewellery: Protect enamel surfaces from impacts, abrasive materials, harsh chemicals, and sudden temperature changes. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth unless otherwise advised by our team.
Avoid using chemical jewellery dips, ultrasonic cleaners, or steam cleaners unless a qualified jewellery professional confirms that the method is suitable for your specific piece.
Professional Inspection & Maintenance
We recommend having your jewellery professionally inspected at least once a year, particularly pieces worn frequently or featuring delicate gemstone settings.
Regular inspections can help identify loose gemstones, worn clasps, weakened links, and other signs of wear before more significant damage occurs.
If your jewellery requires a deeper cleaning or professional attention, we invite you to visit our Farah Jewellery boutique at Grand Hyatt Dubai.
What Should I Do If My Jewellery Is Damaged?
If your jewellery becomes damaged, a gemstone appears loose, or a clasp or setting no longer functions correctly, stop wearing the piece to prevent further damage or loss.
We invite you to bring your jewellery to our boutique, where our team will carefully assess its condition and recommend the appropriate repair or restoration options.
Any applicable service charges will be communicated following assessment.
